Immediate Dentures

   An immediate denture is inserted on the same day as your tooth extraction. Not only do these dentures restore your smile immediately, but it also protects the sensitive gum tissue at the extraction site(s) and allows a smooth transition to normal eating activity.

According to studies, people who pick Immediate Dentures after extraction get used to wearing dentures more quickly than those who opt for different denture solutions. 

Following the insertion of an immediate denture, the denturist often sees the patient within 24 hours to assess the denture and determine whether any adjustments are necessary. Throughout the next 9 to 12 months, a series of soft reline/tissue conditioner treatments are required to stabilize the denture as the mouth heals and changes. The immediate denture will need to have a permanent hard reline once enough healing has taken place.
